Why “Mr. Rogers Core”?
When someone asked what genre my music was, I said the first thing that felt true: “Mr. Rogers Core.” It stuck.
Fred Rogers was genuine, and the coolest thing you could be right now is genuine. He wasn't trying to be cool or clever. He made people feel safe and seen, which is harder than it sounds.
That's what I want the music to do. And, it's what I want my whole life to do.
